Expo goers have a world of options when they are away from the show at Mandalay Bay.
"Mandalay Bay boasts many popular attractions from the four-story, glass-enclosed wine tower at Aureole to the spectacular views of the city from miX Restraurant and Lounge," said Scott Voeller, vice president of marketing for Mandalay Bay. "But our most popular attraction is our 11-acre surf n' sand beach with Las Vegas' only wave pool and beachside casino. Voted the number one pool in Las Vegas, The Beach also features 100 day beds, cabanas, pavilions and villas."
Restaurants
StripSteak
Noted chef Michael Mina's serves up corn-fed meat, line-caught seafood and fresh produce. Certfied Angus and American Kobe are served up. "StripSteak has been an unqualified hit since its debut two years ago," Voeller said. "Featuring a lively and open atmosphere and a rockin' soundtrack, StripSteak prepares beef and other dishes like no other restaurant. Esquire Magazine recently named the Kansas City Strip at StripSteak the "best steak in America."
Fleur de Lys
Fresh cuisine is served by celebrated chef Hubert Keller. Three-, four- and five-course meals are available.
Burger bar
Keller serves up the must-have burger experience, featuring beef, buffalo, turkey, vegetarian and vegan products.
Aureole
Heralded chef Charlie Palmer brings out fine dining at a 2009 Mobil Four-Star winner. In some circles, Aureole is considered one of the country's top restaurants and is recognized for its wine list.
Wolfgang Puck's Trattoria de Lupo
The Italian bistro is headed up by famed chef Wolfgang Puck. The restaurant includes specialities like wood-oven pizzas, fresh pasta and savory seafood.
Border Grill
Modern Mexican dishes are served by chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger -- Food Network's "Too Hot Tamales" -- in a setting of two floors of patio dining.
rumjungle
Rodizio style is the word from a tropical-powered menu. Some of the specialties include Blue Corn Fried Calamari with salsa and cilantro-ginger pesto, and Cuban Coffee Smoked Ribs with guajillo barbecue sauce.
Red Square
A bar made of ice and private vodka lockers make this Russian-themed restaurant stand out, as does its wide selection of caviar. Dishes include Siberian Nachos, Roquefort Filet Mignon, Strozapretti Stroganoff and Salmon Kulebyaka.
Red, White and Blue
The restaurant serves up regional American cuisine and includes a noted oyster bar with Maine lobster.
House of Blues Restaurant
Southern-fueled regional cuisine lights up the restaurant.
Raffles Cafe
Open 24 hours, the upscale dining experience offers a wide variety of choices.
Nightlife, Lounges and Bars
House of Blues Music Hall
Located next to the House of Blues Restaurant, there's live music every night. Rock, reggae, rap, jazz and blues all play here.
eyecandy sound lounge & bar
High-tech is the word in a combination of interactive touch tables, revolutionary sound stations and a dance floor with a constantly changing landscape. The technology allows guests to be in control of their nightlife from their booth. Using interactive, multi-touch tables, guests can create visuals and messaging as well as project images onto screens above the dance floor.
Mix Lounge
Located at the top of THEhotel on the 64th floor, take in stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip from the balcony. Music is spun by DJs every night.
Fleur de Lys Lounge
Inside the Fleur de Lys restaurant, the lounge serves up music from a DJ.

rumjungle
Fire, waterfalls combine with conga drums, dancers, aerialists and live percussions to make for a hot three-tiered nightclub. The world's largest rum bar is also part of the show.
Attractions
Shark Reef Aquarium
The one-of-a-kind facility in North America, the Shark Reef Aquarium is filled with predators, and includes a rare Komodo Dragon. More than 2,000 animals are at the Shark Reef, which includes 14 exhibits filled with dangerous aquatic creatures. For a safer feel, the touch pool is also popular.
Mandalay Beach Club
Considered by some Las Vegas' top pool experience, the Mandalay Beach Club has real sand, a wave pool, lazy river, three swimming pools and a jogging track.
