Managed Print Summit
The Absolute Minimum to Get Into MPS
Description:TBA
Presenter(s):
Jim Phillips
Whether on the football field playing for BYU in college or in the boardroom playing for 1,000-plus dealers, Jim Phillips has demonstrated how vision, value and experience married with determination and loyalty has been his keys for success. Phillips started with Xerox more than 30 years ago and left Xerox to start the first of five market-leading companies he built from scratch. He loves building a business that makes a difference and felt that way when he became the original investor in e-automate over a decade ago. He watched from the board until he couldn't help himself anymore and bought the company. He is a corporate visioneer with the beautiful mind capability to store everything he hears and studies and retrieve the important facts when needed. This has proven beneficial when beginning to build a complete end-to-end MPS offering two years ago for more than 1,000 of his e-automate dealers. His passion is only exceeded by his energy to do what's right for dealers and employees.
Lon Price
Lon Price is in his second tour of duty with Digital Gateway. His first tour was dedicated to helping Jim Phillips, current CEO, launch the company. Price returned a year ago to participate in the expansion of the company into the MPS marketplace and beyond. With his bachelor's degree in computer science from Brigham Young University, and previous experience launching seven software companies including Oracle, Price knows the ins and outs of an effective and successful software company. He is in charge of Digital Gateway's sales and marketing teams. He is actively involved in research of the marketplace and customers. Price also oversees DGI's marketing strategy and is excited for what the future holds for e-automate users in the MPS marketplace.
